About Me

My name is Kendra, Kendrapher if you're my husband, and momma to my sons.

I was born and raised in the midwest, so was my husband (see our 6-degrees of separation on "How we met") and currently living in New Jersey courtesy of the Air Force.  My whole life story is probably not what you are looking for on this page, so life story you shall not read.

I graduated from Saint Louis University in 2003 which my B.S. in Occupational Therapy and have worked in geriatrics and pediatrics.  My specialty the last 5 years has been pediatrics with an emphasis in autism and sensory processing disorder. There were times in college and even after I graduated and in the work force when I felt like maybe this wasn't the career for me, but once I began working with kids I knew I had found my passion.  I can say that during my career I made a few personal missteps that affected by professional life, but every year brought more personal maturity and wisdom that I am proud of.  Without going into too much detail, I've learned that my past does not dictate my future (that SHOULD be true in anything in life though, right?) and forgiving myself is more important than what anyone else thinks about me......aaaaaaaand I have completely digressed from the "about me" portion of your entertainment.

My husband is in the Air Force and that has brought us to Oklahoma, and now New Jersey.  We have 2 beautiful baby boys (X-Man and Baby J).   I'm a stay at home mom right now, and loving almost every minute of it.  My husband and I had decided before we got married that when children came, I would stay home and we both feel soooooooooo blessed that it is possible for us.
